After announcing their City Churned Campaign earlier this month, @PRPoobah (a PR guy for Ben & Jerry's) announced the first flavor to come to fruition. The ice cream fans based in Washington D.C. have helped to create Capitol Chill: a chocolate ice cream with divine chocolate cornflake clusters, marshmallow and caramel swirls and a Route 11 sweet potato chip. With a description like that, not only can I not wait to get my hands on a pint, but I'm also interested to see what flavors come from the four other cities.
If you live in the DC area and you're interested in trying the Ben & Jerry's flavor made especially for your city, they'll be scooping from the Scoop Truck on June 29th at The Farm at Walker Jones.
