Handel's again comes through and makes another killer flavor. While this may seem dull just by the look and the name of the pint, Handel's really scripted an amazing base. Their chocolate fudge base, which has a very creamy/buttery texture and after taste to it, is also mixed with chunked almonds throughout the pint. The taste of the base alone is mind blowing and up there with one of the best I've ever had. It's not a rich fudge like you would expect a dark chocolate to taste, but instead that butter thrown into the mix really makes this shine. Think of a very rich and creamy fudge taste with a buttery after taste.
As you can see after taking a bite into the pint there are small little remarks of the almonds that are in the pint and are not frozen hard like you may find in a ben & Jerry's pint but stay pretty firm, not frozen, nor soggy, so they held up very well and compliment the pint very well.
As I continued to dig through the pint, the base tasted as good as ever and the chunks were similar to those in a Graeter's Pint meaning they really start to pick up in size, not little flakes like you may see in the first few pictures or first few bites. These start to become almost halved almonds or full size almonds which pack a great crunch with the superb base. While Handel's has a basic pint here, the single mix in, and the outstanding base really give it a high grade. This is one of my favorites from the company, not just for the base alone, but how the almond really suits the creamy fudge and buttery base.
