Haagen Dazs recently released four new flavors to add to their Gelato lineup: Pomegranate Swirl, Pistachio, Caramelized Banana Chip, and the one we were able to find first, Tiramisu. The back of the pint reads like this, “Haagen Dazs Tiramisu gelato folds cocoa ladyfinger pieces into bold and complex tiramisu gelato, creating an exceptionally smooth indulgence that's light on your palate."
This 260 calorie per serving tiramisu gelato is thick, creamy, and has the ideal balance of rich mascarpone to coffee flavoring; a complex base that you rarely find from mass-production operations. To accompany the top-notch gelato, Haagen Dazs has thrown in a large helping of these dense, crumbly lady finger pieces that add another element of authenticity. We always love reviewing tiramisu themed ice creams and gelatos, so it should come as no surprise to see this one received an A.
