Hesed, a reader from Los Angeles, picked up this pint of Laleh Saffron recently at an international grocery store in Northridge, California. Although there isn't much information available online, Laleh's handcrafted, gourmet Saffron ice cream with pure cream chips sure sounds interesting. The idea of heading to some of the smaller international grocery stores in search of ice cream hadn't crossed my mind, but I plan on checking a few nearby in hopes of finding some unique finds like this.
