Considering Greenfield Ice Cream makes it a priority to use fresh ingredients in order to provide the clean flavoring in their pints, so I was excited to see they included some Cinnamon, one of their signature flavors. According to their website, this one, “tastes like the top of a coffee cake.” Using fresh, all natural ingredients, real cinnamon is all they add to their mix in order to obtain this flavor.
This one was exactly what we expected from a Greenfield flavor; simple and effective. The cinnamon came on strong from start to finish, providing just enough spice to keep your taste buds entertained without mix-ins. Eventually though, we needed more. Our solution? A crispy, cinnamon-infused waffle topped with two scoops of Greenfield cinnamon ice cream and dusted with cinnamon sugar.
