After trying their Can’t Tell Me No! Cookie Dough, I was excited to revisit the premium base, immense swirls, insane amount of mix-ins and top-notch quality found in a pint from the 2nd Street Creamery. As you can read from the description, their Tons of Brownies flavor has vanilla ice cream with chewy chocolate chip brownies and fudge sauce. This combination of flavors reminds me of a classic brownie sundae, and seeing as how I love those, I had high expectations.
Upon opening the pint, the brown, fudge sauce swirls had be excited to dig right in. My first impression came from the vanilla ice cream, which has a stronger, more-intense flavoring than many other super-premium bases. As I continue to work my way through, I begin running into the big pieces of brownie that make their way into nearly every single spoonful. The last part comes from the fudge swirl, which is reminiscent of the Hershey’s syrup you’d add to milk. After the initial layer, there wasn’t a bite that went by that didn’t have all the components involved.
This pint is absolutely loaded with flavor, mix-ins and should be an instant favorite of any chocolate lover. All the ingredients compliment one another wonderfully without overpowering. Just because their Can’t Tell Me No! Cookie Dough and Copper Kettle Caramel were so incredible; I’d place this third in line behind them, but was still really enjoyable. If you haven’t had any products from 2nd Street Creamery, you’re truly missing out. Their combination of premium bases and outrageous amounts of mix-ins is something everyone needs to try.
