Ben & Jerry's has announced that by 2015 all of their ice cream will be free of genetically modified organisms (GMO's). According to the Huffington Post, only 80% of their products are made from non-GMO ingredients. This recent controversy joins their current movement to make all their flavors Fairtrade, which should also prove difficult to complete. At least such a large corporation like Ben & Jerry's is taking the necessary steps to not only improve their product, but also help out their consumers and the environment as well.
