Even though we're located on the opposite side of the country from where Three Twins operates, a handful of their products still make the journey all the way from California to North Carolina. We've tested quite a few of their prepackaged pints of ice cream and their Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream Sandwiches turned out to be our favorite. In no way did we think that their more subtle sounding Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Sandwiches with organic vanilla bean ice cream sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies could outperform its salty counterpart, but fortunately for everyone involved, we were wrong with that assumption.
The first bite of these petite, individually wrapped sandwiches came as quite a pleasant surprise. The soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture of the chocolate chip cookies was just as impressive as their taste and when coupled with the rich, vanilla bean ice cream, these were a huge success.
