Avarakkai(Broad Beans) Thoran Recipe
Ingredients
Avarakkai-250g choppedBengal gram dal-2 full tspcoconut-grated 1/2 cupgreen chillies-1red chillies-2garlic-2jeera-2 tspmustard seed-1 tspurad dal-1 tspSalt-to tastecurry leaves-as requiredGingelly oil-2tsp
Directions
Heat oil in pan and crackle mustard seeds.Add urad dal,green chillies and curry leaves.Now add avarakka and salt to mix well.Add some water to boil for 5 minutes.Meanwhile Grind the coconut,jeera,garlic and red chillies.Now Add the mixture and boiled bengal gram in avarakka and cook for 2-3 min or till avarakka is cooked well.Serve hot with sambhar,rasam.
