Atlanta Ice Cream Festival

Details: The Atlanta Ice Cream Festival serves up plenty of ice cream with a side of health and fitness. According to the website, “This fun event will include a variety of health and wellness agencies, fitness routines, and so much more fun for the whole family. Yes, come to the park, eat some ice cream, BUT also prepare yourself for lots of laughter, break a sweat with the fitness activies, receive information from the participating health/wellness agencies of our community and have a great time.”

Details: Entry to the festival is $10 (kids under 8 are free). The event includes games, activities, contests and live entertainment as well as lots of ice cream. Also on the schedule is a homemade ice cream making contest, a popsicle stick sculpture contest, and an ice cream eating contest.

Details: According to the festival website, “everyone screams for ice cream — especially when it’s all the ice cream you can eat! Join us for the 19th Annual Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival.
