As of late, I've started profiling some of the various, small-scale ice cream operations from around the country. The experience starts by choosing one of their gelato, sorbet or yogurt bases. After debating between gelatos like Mexican Chocolate Chipotle and Belgian Chocolate, Sorbets like Bartlett Pear and Green Apple Wasabi, or Yogurts like Double Dutch Chocolate and Original Tart, you then select which flavor you’d like your pop to be dipped in. Not only can you choose dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate to dip your HopPOP in, but you can also choose a full dip, half dip or a drizzle. The last and final step comes from the different nuts, sprinkles and candy poppings you can choose to have your pop rolled around in.
